From an Era Past

At the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, what is now the Great Otway National Park, was an area of rich resources for timber getters. Narrow gauge railway was used to take the logs to the mills. Today, when hiking in the park, it is not unusual to come across relics from this era.

The following is a photograph of one such relic.
