Spring in my part of Australia has had above average rainfall. So when I visited Triplet Falls a couple of days ago I thought there should be a good flow of water over the falls. I was not disappointed.
Triplet Falls is situated in the Otway National Park. It got its name because there are three cascades – two upper and a lower fall.
The Triplet Falls are fed by the Young Creek which commences at Weeaproinah, one of the wettest places in Victoria. Its annual rainfall is often in excess of two metres!
