Pink Galah in Wattle Tree

This little fellow is a pink and grey Galah, Eolophus (Cacatua) roseicapilla, and it is in a wattle tree just outside my back door. The tree has just finished flowering and is now a mass of seed pods which are a source of food for the galahs and other parrots. This particular galah was having a great time dining out.

  1. What a beautiful picture. We some times have wild galahs come down to introduce themselves to our companion galah – unfortunately she always does a war dance and chases them away.
